Canadian Icelandic Sheepdog Club
The Canadian Icelandic Sheepdog Club has been a National club in Canada since 2001. We help promote the Icelandic Sheepdog in all ways. We are a network of breeders and fellow ISD owners now over 50 strong across Canada, and the United States, if you are looking to learn more about the Icelandic Sheepdog and/or referrals to club breeders please contact the club for more information. The number one reason pet folks belong to the club is our amazing Icelandic Sheepdog E-newsletter! Ask for your first free copy today!
Our wonderful western Canadian Breeders at this time are Pineridge Icelandic in B.C and Belglen Kennels in Sask, We also now have three stud dog owners in Alberta, and three stud dogs available in Sask, as well as one up and coming new female breeder in Sask, Sorry no CISC Alberta Kennels at this time.
We do ask breeders to meet our health and ethics guidelines, and we do not allow breeders who will not do so to be part of our club, so if you see breeders that are not members of the CISC, please buyer beware.
For tons more information, over 100 artices of health, history and weekly updates you can find them at the main Club website listed below.
Last year the Canadian Icelandic Sheepdog Club held its nationals at Calgary Alberta, Canada, and this year, the Canadian Icelandic Sheepdog Club will hold its nationals in Ontario, and in 2009 it will be held in B.C.
